71-Year-Old Charged After Shooting at Teens Toilet-Papering Homes in Arnaudville
St. Martin Parish Sheriff Becket Breaux said deputies responded to a shooting just before midnight Monday on a street outside Arnaudville, Louisiana, where several high school students were toilet-papering neighborhood homes as part of a homecoming prank. Travis Frederick, 71, who lives next door to one targeted home, allegedly went outside with a gun and fired at least five shots toward the students, then fired a second shot that struck their vehicle as they tried to leave. No injuries were reported. Frederick was arrested and booked on charges of attempted manslaughter, aggravated assault with a firearm, and aggravated criminal damage to property; his bond had not yet been set.
